Learn IT @ Lunch

This panel will describe what 360 video is and how it's recorded, including some of the cameras you can use to capture an immersive experience to share a vacation memory or a family event. You will also learn about two projects funded by the Duke Digital Initiative (DDI) that are exploring the use of 360 video in teaching and learning at Duke. 360 video captures scenery and action from all sides and, in some cases, from above and below, too! For an example, watch this video of the Duke class of 2016 climb to the top of Duke Chapel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40z5qhq2Hek&t=40s Learn IT @ Lunch is designed to be an opportunity to learn about technology in a relaxed lunch environment. Each session includes a presentation followed by Q & A. No pre-registration is required. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. NOTE: Lunch is not provided. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.
