Mr. Jang is committed to share his observations and insights on North Korean nuclear issues and peace in the Korean Peninsula. His most recent book is "China's Push, America's Holdout: Korea at a crossroads and the hegemonic clash of the U.S. and China."

About the speaker: Jang Sungmin served as Chief of Staff for Monitoring State
Affairs under President Kim Dae-jung and was a Member of the Korean National Assembly. He is currently the President of the World and Northeast Asia Peace Forum and Director of the Korean Association of International Studies. During 2012-2016 he was the chief anchor of the TV Chosun's current affairs program "Jang Sungmin's Sisa-tank." He was awarded as the best anchor by the Seoul Journalists Club in 2014 and the Journalists Federation of Korea in 2015.
