Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and the University Program in Environmental Policy for the fourth and final presentation in their Spring 2019 seminar series.

Dr. Krithi Karanth is the chief conservation scientist and director at the Centre for Wildlife Studies, an explorer with the National Geographic Society, and adjunct faculty at Duke University and the National Centre for Biological Sciences. Karanth has been involved in scientific research and conservation in Asia for the last 21 years, focusing on the human dimensions of conservation. Her talk will focus on projects that have applied conservation science to understand and develop interventions addressing human-wildlife conflict, wildlife connectivity, and education in India.
