2019 Inaugural Duke Transplant Research Symposium

We are excited to have assembled the inaugural year of this half-day Transplant Research Symposium sponsored by the Duke Transplant Center (DTC) to showcase the breadth and diversity of research at Duke related to transplantation. This event will highlight some of the many investigators in the field and the resources available to help facilitate transplant research projects and collaborations.

The speakers and audience are purposefully a mix of clinicians and scientists, both those currently involved in transplantation-related research and those with potential connections to transplant with highly novel areas of inquiry. We have speakers from 8 departments across the medical center and anticipate representation from multiple other departments, as well as our colleagues from other Schools around the campus. In addition, we have two keynote speakers from Duke Biomedical Engineering to strengthen collaborations between solid transplant and engineering and to position the DTC for future research.
