Nitric oxide and endothelial dysfunction in malaria and implications for treatment

J. Brice Weinberg, MD is a board-certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist at the Duke University and V.A. Medical Centers. His research includes investigations of mechanisms of resistance to infection, pathways of inflammation, and regulation of normal and leukemic hematopoiesis.

Dr. Weinberg will discuss his team's research involving the pathophysiology of severe malaria in children and adults.
