AI Health Data Studio Sessions

This one-hour virtual seminar will introduce researchers to two key platforms for clinical data at Duke: DEDUCE (the Duke Enterprise Data Unified Content Explorer), which is a query tool for clinical data retrieval; and PACE (the Protected Analytics Computing Environment), which is a virtual computing space approved by Duke Health for use in analyzing health data. Learn more about PACE at

This session is part of the AI Health Data Studio series in spring 2022, hosted by Ursula Rogers, Ricardo Henao, and Shelley Rusincovitch. Starting with the February 10 overview, the follow-on weekly seminars will go into deeper detail on each of the data resources, and introduce participants to the many experts and resources available at Duke.

The data studios are designed for investigators who are considering working with medical data at Duke, especially applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence, but may not be sure where to begin. We especially encourage Duke early-stage investigators and campus-based researchers to attend.
