Racial Equity Learning Arc
The Racial Equity Learning Arc, a cohort-based series of workshops created and facilitated by The Equity Paradigm, is open to Duke staff and faculty who have completed the Racial Equity Institute's Phase I workshop or a near equivalent. This six-session series is intended to build a learning community for participants to develop shared language and analysis around diversity, inclusion and equity. Participants will interrogate structural racism and the way it manifests in our individual experiences, organizational dynamics and systemic outcomes.
The application for the Fall 2022 cohort is now open. Please complete the brief online application by August 26. All sessions will be held virtually on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (September 15, September 22, September 29, October 6, October 13, October 20). Participants must commit to attending at least 5 of the 6 dates. Applicants will receive confirmation by August 31. Contact Duke Civic Engagement if you have any questions.
