Climate change is real, it's here and it's all around us. How can we make choices in our daily lives to turn toward this reality and cultivate the tools, community connections and culture shift we need to face the climate reality? How can connection with the natural world support us in remembering we are part of nature and can act to steward and protect it?

In this experiential, in-person and entirely outdoor series, somatic therapist and community healing artist Patty Adams, a licensed therapist trained in trauma-informed somatics and yoga, mindfulness and Ayurveda, will co-create a space for connection and reflection to support participants' ability to intentionally make space for the emotional, cognitive and spiritual impacts of the rapidly changing world.

Fee: $135; 20% discount for Gardens members with seasonal discount code. The class meets for five sessions, March 1 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 12:30-2 p.m; April 5 will be the rain makeup date. Registration is at https://rsvp.duke.edu/g1nKqO.
