VFF: VAST Challenge 2017: Benchmarking SAS Visual Analytics

The capabilities of data visualization and analytics toolkits are often driven only by the needs of the creator or the customer. In order to be more adaptable, the tool must be tested against a wider range of scenarios. The VAST Challenge program helps with this testing by providing a new set of data with embedded ground truths each year and inviting teams from around the world to share their findings and processes. In this talk we will discuss SAS's involvement in the VAST Challenge and present our entry for 2017.
