Upasna earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Wesleyan University in 2012.
Current research: Intergenerational epigenetic inheritance of paternal dietary effects. She is studying paternal dietary effects in mice that are transmitted to offspring via the sperm.
