Duke Chinese Theater Presents: Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land

DCT proudly announces that our major stage play showcase this semester--Secret Love for the Peach Blossom Land--will take place on April 23rd and 24th (Monday and Tuesday) in PSI Theatre, Downtown Durham. This play was the most famous piece by Stan Lai, a renowned US-born Taiwan-based playwright and theater director, and was first performed on March 3, 1986. As one of the most popular stage plays in the Chinese speaking world, this play presents a collision between history and present, comedy and tragedy, fiction and reality. This spring, DCT hopes to bring a new life to this classic. Join us in this season of peach blossoms!
