Documentary Studies Undergrad Capstone Presentations

A record number of twenty-two Duke University seniors will graduate in 2018 with a Certificate in Documentary Studies. Many of them will present excerpts from their final capstone projects to the public at this event. Lunch will be served on the front porch at 1pm, prior to the student presentations at 2pm.

The Certificate in Documentary Studies program attracts undergraduates to the Center for Documentary Studies from across the arts and sciences. During the 2017-18 academic year, under the guidance of Alex Harris, Wesley Hogan, Nancy Kalow, and Christopher Sims, the students completed their final projects in a Capstone Seminar (in Fall 2017 or Spring 2018) as the culmination of their documentary studies classes. Some students previously presented their projects in December 2017.
