What is the role of gender equity in the workplace, and in what ways does an emphasis on gender equity impact the likelihood of sexual harassment? In this workshop, we'll discuss 1) Gender equity in the workplace in the context of equal opportunity in the United States, 2) Identifying inappropriate conduct related to sex in professional environments, 3) How to report, respond to, and/or manage inappropriate sexual conduct once it has been identified, and 4) Understanding one's role and obligation to achieve gender equity.

Amy Circosta is a passionate advocate for equal opportunity and just processes. Amy has over fifteen years of experience in the field of equal opportunity, inclusion and diversity. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors Psychology from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Amy was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003, is a Certified Affirmative Action Professional, and is a trained mediator.
