Impact America Info Session

Impact America is an AmeriCorps program that engages recent college graduates in a year of service. During this paid gap year experience, service members operate our two signature initiatives: FocusFirst and SaveFirst. FocusFirst is a free, high-tech vision screening program that serves children across the state. SaveFirst is a free, high quality tax preparation service that benefits low-income families. This program is perfect for pre-medical students, students looking to go into service fields, those looking for a gap year program before entering graduate school, or anyone who wants to spend a year making a quantifiable impact for families across the state.
