Nurturing Your Kids: Massage and Acupressure Techniques for Parents and Caregivers
Childhood is full of many surprising and exciting moments for both children and their parents. At times, this excitement can take the form of a sudden ailment or health issue that does not necessarily warrant a trip to the emergency department, but can still take a toll on family tranquility.
This 2-hour workshop will fill your caregiving toolbox with strategies to address these common childhood problems. Licensed Acupuncturist Janet Shaffer and Licensed Massage Therapist Kim Turk will guide you through the ways that massage and acupressure can be used to help many common childhood issues such as digestive distress, teething pain, colic, congestion, and soothing to sleep.
NOTE: This workshop is not designed for children to attend. Participation and attendance are limited to parents, grandparents, guardians, and other caregivers.
