Join the Nasher and the Click! Photography Festival for an evening with photographer Keith Carter. His keynote address coincides with the release of a career monograph published by the University of Texas Press, Keith Carter-Fifty Years.

Carter is an artist, author, educator and occasional musician. He holds the Endowed Walles Chair of Art at Lamar University in Texas. He's been awarded the Lange-Taylor Prize from the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University and spent time in North Carolina as a Cassilhaus Resident Artist. He's the recipient of the Texas Medal of Arts and the Regent's Professor Award from the Texas State University System. Carter's work has been shown in over 100 solo exhibitions in 13 countries. He's the author of 11 books and a DVD documentary of his work, The Photographer's Series: Keith Carter, was produced by Anthropy Arts.

The Click! Photography Festival's annual portfolio reviews at the 21c Museum Hotel conclude with a portfolio walk that will be held in the Nasher Museum's Great Hall. This is an opportunity for visitors to view the work of the Click! Class of 2018, the curated group of 20 artists that participated in the portfolio reviews and mingle with the esteemed Click! reviewers. It will immediately precede the evening's keynote address in the Nasher's lectulecture hall, featuring Keith Carter.
