The Little Corner Reading Series, sponsored by the Duke English Department and Professors Joseph Donahue and Nathaniel Mackey, will host three poetry reading events this academic year on the topic of EXCESS WOMEN. In reflection of numerous institutional structures organized to silence, contain, define, and restrict women, female experience, femininity, and female embodiment, we welcome women and non-binary poets whose work brings vital attention to the question of what it means to be a "woman in excess."

For our first event of the season, we'll be hosting poetry readings by Ina Cariño, Dorothea Lasky, and Jessica Q. Stark. More information and bio information below. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Please share widely!
