Mark your calendars for February 18th at 12:15pm EST! GWHT is hosting the next installment of our "Facing Hard Numbers and Harder Conversations" panel series. This panel is based on the blog "Listening and Learning: Systemic Racism, Racial and Sexual Disparities in Women's Health - Part 5: Moving Beyond the Movement" by Arielle Hutchinson. Arielle, a Duke University student, will be joining us as a featured panelist, along with Maya Jackson, a DONA trained doula and the Founder and Executive Director of MAAME, Inc. (Mobilizing African American Mothers through Empowerment). You will not want to miss this event as we recognize Black History Month and face the hard numbers of the Black maternal health crisis.
