How behavioral and evolutionary constraints sculpt early visual processing

Duke Neurobiology welcomes Stephanie Palmer, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Organismal Biology & Anatomy and of Physics at the University of Chicago. She has a PhD in theoretical physics from Oxford University where she was a Rhodes Scholar, and she works on questions at the interface of neuroscience and statistical physics.
Dr. Palmer will present "How behavioral and evolutionary constraints sculpt early visual processing" live with a Zoom simulcast. Email d.shipman@duke.edu for connection details.
