This powerful story of literacy and rural community is capturedin the 33-minute documentary film MAESTRA. Join us for a screening of the film and a roundtable discussion featuring individuals involved in the making of the film, as well as UNC faculty and students of Cuban history. This event is co-sponsored by the Institute for the Study of the Americas and the Rare Book Collectionin celebration of the gift of the MAESTRA archive to Wilson Library.
