The goals of this workshops are to:
- Develop a greater understanding of cardiovascular robustness, resilience and rejuvenation relating to Inflammation
- Identify areas and approaches for future research, ranging from fundamental discovery science to population health
- Stimulate discussion and collaboration across campus in advance of a seed grant RFP Fall/Winter 2018 for TDH-CVD, as well to inform further thinking in this major area of Duke Health investment

The target audience is:
- Duke Health and Duke University scientists, clinicians and trainees interested in cardiovascular disease and robustness, resilience and rejuvenation
- Individuals and labs considering anticipating TDH-CVD grant submissions in the fall
