Pratt Master's Professional Development

In this session of the Keys for Success professional skills series for Pratt master's students, a panel of successful professionals from the biotech field will discuss their experience & how skills such as communication, leadership, and organizational navigation have enhanced their careers.

Panelists: Kelly Kimmerling, PhD, Senior Research Engineer, Organogenesis is in the Research and Development department of Organogenesis working collaboratively on cross-functional projects related to a portfolio of placental-derived products. She has a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics from Johns Hopkins, and MEng and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Duke.

Felicia Hawthorne, PhD, Senior Product Manager, Illumina has held positions in sales development, technical marketing and support management, & global strategy and business analytics management in the biotechnology sector. She received her Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics from Duke & her BS in Biological Sciences from Clemson.

Suzanne Minton, PhD, Director, Content Strategy, Certara, adeptly conveys the business and scientific value of drug products using her well-honed interpersonal, organizational & communication skills. She received her Ph.D. in Genetics and Genomics from Duke.
