This workshop will help students develop self-awareness, leadership, communication, and time management skills. It is based on the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which has sold more than 25 million copies in 40 languages worldwide.

Facilitator Bio: La Tondra Murray, Ph.D. is the Director of Online & Distance Education and an Adjunct Professor of the Practice in Duke's Pratt School of Engineering. A 13-year software development veteran, La Tondra held technical leadership and management positions at IBM in Research Triangle Park. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction from North Carolina State University. She also holds a B. in Computer Science from Spelman College and a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. She has authored or co-authored seven technology papers in the areas of user interface design and engineering education and holds patents in the areas of personal agents and human factors design methodologies. Dr. Murray is a Certified Personal and Executive Coach as well as a Certified Franklin Covey Seven Habits of Highly Effective People facilitator.
