It's difficult to study something you cannot define and operationalize. We'll take a look at how creativity has been defined, measured, and investigated.

To Find Creativity, Proceed to the Intersection of This and That.
Every discipline, scientific or otherwise, has its areas of focus, study, training, and habits of thought. It becomes a lens through which we see a problem. That both focuses our attention and limits what we can see. What happens when a problem is seen through another discipline's lens.

Better Together?
Creativity is not just an individual thing. Some groups are more creative than others. What is the impact on group creativity of factors such as diversity, newcomers, and initial ideas?

About Dr. Cook
Dr. Cook retired as Research Professor from the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University and continues to participate part-time in health outcomes research as a consultant. Her work has included measurement development, methodological research, and clinically-substantive research accomplished using advanced psychometric methods.
