This talk will examine how you can use 'informational interviews' to explore new careers, practice translating your skills, and prepare to convey your value to employers beyond the professoriate. His public lecture will be followed by an in-depth interview with Lauren Ginsberg (DGS, Classical Studies) and Maria Wisdom (Director of Graduate Student Advising and Engagement for the Humanities) on the ins-and-outs of harnessing the skills and experiences of one's Ph.D. work outside the academy. The event will conclude with a live Q&A in which Caterine will answer YOUR questions about Leaving Academia.
