Duke Engineering Tech Topics Seminar

The Technical Topics Seminar Series introduces Duke Engineering master's students to important technological development across engineering disciplines. Each seminar will focus on a single topic, begin with an introductory presentation to set a baseline level of knowledge, and be followed by short sessions that will brief students on engineering challenges, industry applications, and potential implications for society.

This first Technical Topics Seminar focuses on Cybersecurity.

12:40PM "Cybersecurity & Financial Services" by Jimmie Lenz, DBA, Executive Director, Duke Cybersecurity Master of Engineering Program;

1:20PM "The Pandemic's Impact on Cybersecurity" by Janalyn Schreiber, CIPM, CISSP, CDSPE, Partner, Data Privacy & Security Advisors; and

2:05 "Cybersecurity & the Biden Administration" by Justin Sherman, Researcher, Tech, Law & Security Program, American University Washington College of Law, and Nonresident Fellow, Atlantic Council's Cyber Statecraft Initiative.
