Speaker's bio: Catherine Coley is the CEO of Binance.US, a digital asset marketplace built for easy and secure access to buy, trade, and stake digital assets in America. Growing the team from a concept to one of the top American marketplaces managing $6 billion of trading volume in their first year, she defines the strategic developments and new product offerings, all while adhering to U.S. regulations. As a seasoned fintech veteran, Coley comes to Binance.US with combined experience at the crossroads of global capital and cryptocurrency markets, with a passion for expanding the freedom of money. Most recently, Coley was Head of XRP Institutional Liquidity at Ripple, where she played an integral role in the digital asset's liquidity and market development.

Before entering the digital asset industry, Coley served as a foreign exchange and treasury management advisor to start-ups at Silicon Valley Bank in the Fintech sector after five years on trading floors as a foreign exchange associate at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong and London.

Coley holds a BSBA in Global Business and a minor in Asian studies from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. She was a GLOBE scholar and was recently named one of Fortune's Top 40 under 40.
