The Duke fAVS meeting will be held on Thursday March 23, 2023. This an annual meeting geared toward first-year vitreoretinal fellows, medical retina fellows, and uveitis fellows training in North America. Extensive educational content includes medical and surgical panel discussions, surgical video tricks and tips, and an unparalleled wet lab experience with access to some of the latest technology and cutting-edge procedures with one-on-one faculty/fellow interaction.

The Duke AVS Course will be held on Friday and Saturday March 24-25, 2023. The course was founded by Dr. Robert Machemer and is biennial meeting open to all retina specialists around the world. The course consists of a series of lectures and interactive panel discussions led by distinguished invited speakers from across the world and Duke faculty members. Panel discussions will highlight different approaches in retinal detachment, macular surgery, and diabetic vitreoretinal surgery.
