Earthfest 2021

What is the proper scope and definition of "environmentalism"? How can social definitions of sustainability and environmental activism be more inclusive? How do our individual actions and experiences factor into global fights against environmental degradation, as opposed to public policy and systems change?

Join Environmental Alliance for Earthfest from April 9th-11th to engage with Duke professors, students, experts and activists on the central questions defining the environmental movement today. In exploring this years' theme - "Who can be an environmentalist?" - we aim to tackle the above questions from a range of perspectives and fields. Our speaker panels, presentations, and interactive student events will be organized by three subtopics: interdisciplinary environmentalism, intersectional environmentalism, and individual actions.

Join us in both sharing and learning around these topics! Register now using the QR code or website to receive event updates and zoom links.
