Dr. Susan Zolla-Pazner is a Professor in the Department of Medicine and Department of Microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her Ph.D. in medical microbiology at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco. In a 2015 IAVI report, she was named one of six prominent women scientists making a difference in the fight against AIDS. Her research focuses on HIV-specific antibody responses and her work was essential for establishing the role of antibodies in protection from HIV infection.
