The Dialogue Project: Environmental Cooperation in the Middle East
This event is being created in conjunction with the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies located in Kibbutz Ketura on the Israeli side of the Arava Valley and Duke's Chapter of J Street U. The purpose is to highlight the opportunities at the Arava Institute as well as the progress they've made through environmental awareness and collaboration toward bridging the gap between Israelis and Palestinians. We feel that this peacemaking event is an amazing opportunity for students to learn about how environmental collaboration and common goals can loosen the tension between even the oldest of feuds.
There will be free food and space to discuss after the presentation!
