SBIR/STTR Grant Application Workshop

With over $2 billion in funding available, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the complementary Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are excellent sources of early funding to support research and development projects in early-stage startups.

Attend this intensive two-part seminar (second session on June 7) to learn how the SBIR and STTR programs can be used to obtain early funding for spin-out companies based on university innovation. Participants will learn from experts about the application and review process and best practices for preparing a competitive proposal.

This series is ideal for those thinking about submitting an SBIR/ STTR grant in September or January. Seminar will include panels of past SBIR/ STTR winners, and a panel of reviewers.

Co-sponsored by Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the School of Nursing, and the North Carolina Small Business and Technology Center (SBTDC).

Lunch and coffee provided. Free to Duke faculty, staff, students, and their guests. Please register at the link.
