Make a Difference Day

Since 1992, the Points of Light Foundation has sponsored Make A Difference Day in order to inspire hundreds of thousands of volunteers to give back in their local communities. It is held annually on the fourth Saturday in October. The Community Service Center coordinates a Make a Difference Day project in the fall for Duke all members of the Duke community.

We encourage you to join other members of the Duke community and be a part of the millions of volunteers who will contribute to the well-being of their communities. Giving a little will help a lot!

We have two projects to choose from:
#1: Burch Avenue Neighborhood Park Clean up: 10 Spots
#2: Book Harvest: 10 spots (transportation may be provided)
