Dr. marilyn thomas-houston, a Fulbright Fellow, is Outreach Coordinator for the African American Studies Publishing Without Walls (AFRO PWW) Mellon-funded digital publishing project for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Retired from the University of Florida in 2015 as Joint Associate Professor of African American Studies and Anthropology Emeritus, thomas-houston is also the Editor of Fire!!!: The Multimedia Journal of Black Studies, which she co-founded with Daryl Michael Scott.
