Title: Multidimensional network connections in a rapidly changing economic environment. Abstract: Network connections can play an important role in the effects of economic and social policy interventions. But there is limited research into the effect of such interventions on network connections. We explore this question using longitudinal data on economic and social networks in rural Western Kenya. The data are collected as part of an evaluation of a cross-randomized large unconditional cash transfer and psychological intervention designed to increase aspirations. This generates variation in respondents' economic status and mindset, which we use to study how their economic and social networks shift.
