Plants grow, flower, fruit and thrive in such a range of conditions. How does this happen? Alec Motten, associate professor emeritus, Duke University Department of Biology, will address these questions, and more, as he takes you on a tour of plant structure and function, with hands-on activities that engage everyone. Classes will meet every Tuesday from Feb. 25 through March 17 at 6-9 pm. $130; $104 for Gardens members. (919) 668-1707, gardenseducation@duke.edu, Sarah P.
