MEMP Seminar: Working in Bank Fraud Analytics

Shashikiran Pargaonkar is a business manager with Capital One. He leads the Bank Customer Authentication team with a goal to protect customers from account takeover fraud. He has been with Capital One for over 2.5 years. In his role, his team works to implement cutting edge technologies such as biometrics, digital solutions etc. to create better customer experience with authentication while keeping fraudsters at bay. Prior to Capital One, he worked in strategy consulting for over four years in the US and in India. He predominantly worked with pharmaceutical clients to help them with their drug development strategies and global marketing initiatives.

Shashi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from R.V. College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He later graduated from Duke University with a Master of Engineering Management in 2015.
