Pratt master's students may register for this workshop at wconline.pratt.duke.edu. This workshop is a part of the Pratt Master's Professional Development Program.

This workshop will begin with an informational session on community service. The facilitator will discuss what community serviceis, as a concept,and provide guidelines on the most productive ways to engage in service to the community. She will also explainhow peoplebenefit, personally and professionally, from volunteering in the communities they live in. Following the informational session, students will spend time volunteering at a Durham-based partner organization.

Facilitator Bio: Domoniqúe Redmond is the Assistant Director for Programs with Duke's Office of Durham and Community Affairs. She is responsible for the development, planning, implementation and volunteer recruitment for the Community Service Center (CSC) signature programs which include the Annual Volunteer Fair, National Make a Difference Day, Project Share and the Lars Lyon Volunteer Award, as well as non-profit community partner collaborations. Domoniqúe supervises and mentors CSC's national service corps members and student interns and is the Program Director for DukeEngage-Durham.
