Storytelling Skills for Engineers [Registration Required]

Pratt master's students may register for this workshop at wconline.pratt.duke.edu. This workshop is a part of the Pratt Master's Professional Development Program.

In this session, a nationally-recognized storyteller will instruct students on storytelling techniques that will benefit students in job interviews and academic and professional presentations.

Facilitator Bio: Raymond Christian, EdD joinedthe U.S. Army at age 17. Following his years of service, the combat-decorated veteran and paratrooper went back to school and earned degrees in history and a Doctorate in Education Leadership. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of History and General Education at AppalachianState University. Christian's stories have appeared inReaders Digestand have been featured on NPR's Snap Judgment and the Moth Radio Hour. He is a 10-time Moth Story Slam champion and the winner of the 2016 National Storytelling Festival Story Slam. Rayproduces his own podcast, "What's Ray Saying."
