Abortion happens every day. Millions of people around the world will have an abortion each year, but the majority of those people will never talk about their abortion experiences. What If millions of people broke their silence and told the truth about their lives and their choices?

This exhibition gives voice to our untold and silenced experiences through audio stories, images, and objects. These ar·ti·facts disrupt common notions and popular narratives about abortion by exposing the complexity and diversity in our abortion experiences, and offering a more real, nuanced, and complete picture of abortion. Listen to our voices as we share our stories in our own words.

These ar·ti·facts were gathered over the past six years for the digital multi-media project, "The Abortion Diaries."
