February 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.
Page Auditorium, West Campus | 402 Chapel Drive
Kate Bowler was finally living the life she always wanted. She landed her dream job as a professor, married her high school sweetheart, and finally became a mom after years of infertility. Then Kate received the sudden diagnosis that she had stage 4 cancer. From that moment on, she could no longer believe that life is what you make it. In this talk, Kate explores life after things come apart and what might be even better than being perfect: being human.
This event is open to all members of the Duke Community. Balcony seats available only.
