Sports Speaker Series: The Modern Entrepreneur Athlete

Devin Johnson is the President and COO of UNINTERRUPTED, an athlete empowerment brand founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. Mr. Johnson oversees the company's strategic direction and day-to-day operations, while also leading the company's More Than An Athlete mission by helping athletes authentically express their unique stories and voices.

Mr. Johnson also plays a vital role in UNINTERRUPTED's original content development as a producer for projects like the documentary The Carter Effect, ESPN's More Than an Athlete and HBO's The Shop: Uninterrupted, all UNINTERRUPTED original productions.

Previously, Johnson was the SVP of Digital for Tribune where he led all digital efforts, and prior to that, Johnson held several digital executive roles at NBCUniversal where he was instrumental in developing the global company's digital innovation efforts.

A Chicago native, Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. In addition, Johnson is on the board of USA Taekwondo, the national governing body recognized by the US Olympic Committee and on the University of Michigan Sport Management Advisory Board.
