Keep Calm & Do Research

In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of copyright ownership and will understand how to identify the copyrightable aspects of software. They will identify licensing terms and practice identifying reliable sources of information on copyright ownership. While this is not a substitute for legal advice or a primer on commercialization, participants will learn how to understand the basics of software ownership and their rights and obligations as software developers.

* This is a free and open workshop, but pre-registration is required for Zoom access. We'll send out a Zoom link in the morning of the meeting.
