World Contraception Day: Defending Access at Home & Abroad

Planned Parenthood Generation Action at Duke and #Fight4Her, a campaign initiative of Population Connection Action Fund, will be co-hosing a panel discussion for World Contraception Day. Population Connection, is the largest grassroots population organization in the country, and focuses on ensuring that every person around the world who wants to control their own childbearing has access to the health services and contraceptive supplies she needs in order to do so. This panel discussion will focus on attacks on access to reproductive health and rights to at home and overseas, with a specific focus on access to contraception. We are looking forward to having local, national, and international perspectives from human rights activist Lisa Shannon, NARAL NC student advocate Anna Katz, and Gender Studies Professor Kimberly Lamm. There will be free pizza!
