Foundation Impact Research Group

The Center for Strategic Philanthropy and Civil Society invites you to attend our next Foundation Impact Research Group seminar on October 25 at the Sanford School of Public Policy. We are thrilled to host Fred Stanback, who will be joined in conversation with Tom Lambeth, Director Emeritus of the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, and Professor Joel Fleishman. Join faculty, students, and community leaders for a discussion of Funding Conservation in North Carolina.

Mr. Stanback, in partnership with his wife Alice, is one of North Carolina's leading supporters of conservation initiatives. Here at Duke, the Stanbacks have made an extraordinary contribution in funding the Nicholas School of the Environment's Stanback Internship Program. Since the program's inception in 1996, over 1,300 undergraduate and graduate students have benefited.
