Northeast Asia Christian Forum for Reconciliation
The Northeast Asia Christian Forum on Reconciliation will take place in Kyoto, Japan. The event draws around 60 scholars, practitioners, and church leaders from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and the U.S. to join together on a week-long journey across historical wounds and divides in the region and the church in a small microcosm of the larger Christian journey of reconciliation. Like the Great Lakes Institute in Africa and the Summer Institute for Reconciliation at Duke, the forum includes worship, pilgrimage, meal fellowship, speakers, and seminars.
