The UNTHOUGHT Reading Group

The DIBS/FHI Neurohumanities Research Group [NRG] and the Health Humanities Lab [HHL] Present:

The UNTHOUGHt Reading Group

Beginning with our Fall/Winter 2017 reading of N. Katherine Hayles' "Unthought: The Power of the Cognitive Nonconscious," the UNTHOUGHT Reading Group will meditate and converse on texts that help us to unthink what we know about the brain and why and how we know it.

Initial meetings will be held on West or East Campus until participants can find their way to the Health Humanities Lab (HHL). A limited number of copies of each text are available in advance by RSVP to NRG Coordinator Alejandra.Rodriguez@duke.edu, and can be picked up in the FHI or the HHL by appointment.

Join us at noon on Friday November 10 in 118 Perkins to read the Prologue and Part 1 of "Unthought," and get your cognitive nonconscious on in anticipation of the November 17 Symposium in Honor of Professor Katherine Hayles.
