Visual Storytelling: The Art of Seeing Yourself in Others
Please join us for lunch tomorrow with Ruxandra Guidi, the 2018 Susan Tifft Fellow with Doc Studies. Guidi is a storyteller who reports through public radio, magazines, and multimedia. She has told American and Latinx stories from throughout the United States, the Caribbean, South and Central America, as well as Mexico and the U.S.-Mexico border region. Guidi is part of the Fonografia Collective, which "believes in empathetic and culturally-sensitive documentary storytelling about everyday people around the world. We find and craft compelling stories about human rights, politics, the environment, and social issues and share them with the general public using radio, photography, the printed word, multimedia, public installations and events."
