Workshop, part 2: Creating Productive Space for Your Mentees

Sponsor(s): Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement
In this follow-up session, we move from theorizing about the mentoring role to more practical applications. The foundation of effective mentorship is much more than charisma, good intentions, or a habit of giving advice You will be invited to share what's currently working in your mentoring practice, and what challenges you continue to face. You'll get some scaffolding and tools to help you refine concrete mentoring skills such as active listening, delivering effective feedback, and creating space to let mentees manage their own learning and growth. Limit 25 attendees.
