The Tuskegee Experiment - Film and Discussion

The DUSON Community Health Improvement Partnership Program (D-CHIPP) and Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion present this four-part film and discussion series on Medical Ethics and Racial Justice. The first film in the series will be "The Tuskegee Experiment," a documentary from 1990 made for the A&E Network. A facilitated discussion will follow the film. Additional film topics in the series include the story of Henrietta Lacks and HeLa cells, and the Hollywood film, "The Best of Enemies" and the unlikely collaboration efforts of Ann Atwater and C.P. Ellis to desegregate Durham schools.
